Archimedes Medical Calculator 6.0.185

Archimedes is available from SkyScape. It's a decent calculator and looks very pretty on a colour screen.

Forget having to remember complicated formulas, just enter the values and out come the results. With formulas ranging from Aa Gradient to Weights, this calculator provides you with 70 preprogrammed formulas that include specialties such as Cardiology, Pharmacology , Hematology, FEN, Pediatrics, Pulmonary and Renal.

It allows the creation of shortcuts to the ones we would use more often (calculated osmolality, anion gap, etc.). While you can add notes to the program, it is not set up to add new formulae manually.

GlucoControl - v3.0 rev.2

GlucoControl 2.3 is a medical program that tracks blood glucose levels, very useful for diabetic people, that need to continually monitor during the day, the sugar level of the blood to adjust their insulin intake.

If the interface of this program is a little complex and austere, it is no less complete and useful, as it allows you to get all the useful medical data on your PocketPC, and you don't have to carry your notebook around, while providing numerous customisations and graphs.

One of the great advantages of this program is its availability in many languages (English, Catalan, German, ... but not in French), the ability to customise the events that determine glucose intake, the real time graphics for a given period (staggered over days) with automatic estimation of the arithmetic mean of the resulting list, synchronisation with an user account created on the web site for that purpose and the transfer of data, the parameter settings for the insulin based treatments.
