Quick Scroll Kerala degree seats getting lapsed 05.31.07 (1 year ago) #1

Friends great injustice is occuring in kerala PGMET 2007

Almost 14 seats will be lapsed today
we have contacted the commissioner but only faced by helplessness

DME also came up with same stand

Now we are moving a mass petition requesting a reallotment with a counselling to fill the seats from waiting list

But the commissioner has expressed his willingness in conducting the counselling if we get an order from the court

High Court in the last year premed case has made an observation which favours extension of the time to prevent the lapsing of seats

Now we will be moving to court tommorow

If any one is willing to contribute please put in the following account no

almost 40 seats have lapsed

22 seats from tvm and 14 seats from calicut

situation of kottayam has not been confirmed
but commissioner himself has said that there are 40 seats

Our advocate has contacted DME & Commissioner and they are in our favour

So countering will not be problem

The case will be filed on monday

Advocate is trying their best to get an order by wednesday

We are proposing to conduct an open counselling
in which the persons who are present will be alloted seat as per waiting list

but they will have to submit a bond then and there itself which will have immediate effect
Freinds we need monetary support also

Please contribute as suggestions and also in monetary aspect

HI friends,

Dr.Shajee S.Nair here. I am just back from an hour long meeting with our advocates S.Krishnakumar,K.V.Jeyanthi and Sonay John of Kumar&Kumar advocates.
The final draft of the writ petition has been readied at their office and the vakalathnama has been signed by me and 4 other deponents.
Our advocates will be going to the high court tomorrow early morning.
We are hoping for an interim judgement on tuesday and a final verdict, latest by friday.
What we need now is some monetary back-up. The advocate fees and court expenses are no meagre sums and we have to pay them before the hearing on Tuesday. Its our good fortune that we have got three learned and empathising advocates who are very much sensitive to our plight and are hell bent on preventing such grave injustice from happening. They are open to all our queries. If anyone of you have any serious doubts you are free to contact them at [snip]. They have also met the joint CEE Mr.Mohandas in person and have had a long meeting with him to clarify all the technicalities involved.
So we hope that all of you realise that we are indeed genuinely behind this case and are giving it our best in terms of time, money and effort.
Furthermore, the details of the case can also be viewed from the cause list of the High court of kerala on the court's website by Tuesday.
By God's grace all things have been moving smoothly till now. We hope you will support us through.
I am thankful to all those who have already transferred money to the account. Others please do pitch in.Let not money stand in the way of our fight for justice. All that I can assure you is that every transaction will be genuine and transparent. Watch this space for a complete statement of the finances in a few days time.
THe A/c number in SBT,Trivandrum Medical College branch is 5703628958 in the name of Dr.Shajee S.Nair.
