HOW TO EASILY ACCESS A PARTICULAR POST
IN A BIG THREAD?

Here is how its done,

This is the biggest thread in RxPG with 5800 posts.
How can u go to post no 2000?
If u try clicking the page no link on the upper corner of the page to
turn over the page, u will have to click 200 times! icon_biggrin.gif

Here is how its done,

icon_arrow.gif 1. Open the first post of the thread & look at the link.

You may also see 1st pages with the link
Only RxPG members can see links here! Register or Sign In!

i.e "postlite" instead of "postt"

Do the same here also,
make postlite "postx",
retain the thread number(in this case 69667),
add -0-no of the post(example 200) after the thread number, after deleting the symbol "-" after the number.

so the link becomes

by clicking that u can access the 200th post

Wonderful info binoj. It saves lot of time. I just noticed if i edit the link and add 23 to see 23rd post of the thread it actually shows post number 24. Showing one post ahead.
I think we need to add +1 to the post number we want to see
