Well here are some tips that I ended up finding a little late, but

Try and keep your self doing a drug a day in pharmac and study a classification once a week. Pharmac was deffinetly my worst subject, (and still is - I still got 6 months left) There is just too much to handel.

As for micro Ananth is filled with alot of hot air with alot of things that are no longer even used. If you want historic knowledge and get a PG in micro go ahead. If your just intrested in passing, check out Lippincott or G.Reddy Micro. Has everything you need, but don't expect distinction from reading them.

Patho - Robbins is great (expecially the big one - 7th Green Edition - Blue is Medium)
But trying to finish it is a herculean task. Read a topic a day just 30 minutes would do you alot of good expecially for exams. But when last minute studies are there
Go for Hirschmon its just points and more then enough. Expecially the Hirchmon Pocket companion is really good for point wise knowledge at exam time. Infact one of my seniors got distinction in universities reading pocket Hirsch alone. But that doesn't mean don't read big robbins really helps you out in clinics in understanding pathophysiology of disease.

Umm... Ya thats about it isn't it?

73% and u r worrying ??
icon_lol.gif
nOW i KNOW WHY THE gITA READS " Karm kar, phul ki iccha mat kar"
If u hit 73% in 1st yr u will surely get distinction this yr (or don't u already know that from ur internal 2nd yr exams??)

second yr is definitely more difficult than 1st yr... altho the pressure is much lesser...

robbins is a book u need 2 work on...u dont remember things the first time...

paniker s a very nice book... if u r not comf try baveja ?

if u study regularly u can breeze thru considering ur 1st yr score
