what you need to take to the exam center--white coat, good stethoscope, passport or any other identity proof, cash(USD) in case you dont have any1 to pick you up after xam...no need to take any thing to eat coz they provide you wt some solid burgers, coke, coffee ..whatever you wanna eat...infact you wont be able to eat much break coz you'ld be so very focussed abt your xam!!!
things to do d day b4 the xam---
stop studyin, try to relax and most imp sleep early even if you are not used to it...
on the D-Day--
arrive well in advance...xam should start by 8-15am but they do wait for candidates to arrive till atleast 8-45am...so dont panic if you are stuck up somewhere unfortunately...but try to arrive atleast 30min early...
xam xperience
you r alloted a particular no. when u sign in & thats ur id for the day...
i had 12 cases to complete... im not permitted to tell you the cases i encountered...but with good prep you'ld be able to cover most of em ...
the SP's are cool and very good & they try to convey as much info to you as possible...the only thing which you have to do is let them speak..
try to be as specefic as possible...
if you feel you are a bit stuck up with your case try using this trick--
tell the Sp " is there anything else which you would like to tell me?"
it worked for me--could work for you as well....
thats all i can think of.. at present....
i hope you find this bit of info useful.. &
i'm sure you'll cruise thro...

Quick Scroll Medical Student Performance Evaluation. 07.25.07 (1 year ago) #9

Thanks for the wishes. Yup, my preparation is going good. But I am in need of a partner who I can discuss & present cases with.
Anyways, MSPE is onluy for US medical students & its full form is Medical student Performance Evaluation & it is equivalent to the Dean's letter from any other country.
Hope this helps.
How far are you in your process of applying? any particular area are you interested in?

Quick Scroll Staying in Philadelphia 07.27.07 (1 year ago) #10

Any Body who is appearing for the CS exam in Philadelphia...It is an advice not to stay in Corner stone Bed and breakfast. This is the worst place to be in for Day of the exam. Lots of doctors have this experience
