1)small for date babies- a type of low birth weight babies, ...other one is pre-term babies...
small for date babies are babies with birth weight less than 2 SD of normal weight at that period of gestation.

4) rubbish

...not so sure about other 2...

definition of RCH approach is sumwat new to me?is it about the methods of approach ?namely - antenatal ,intranatal n postnatal care

patterns of disease - do we have to mention distribution patterns of the disease? m not sure[/quote]

sunnykothiwala

thanks for all responses......

ya i also wrote preterm babies LBW in small for date babies...
n i have confirmed it in PEDIA---small for date babies (SFD) or small for gestational age (SGA) both are same thing.

in RCH Approach i wrote its 4 main component
CSSM
client oriented health services
prevention of RTI/STD
family planning
but anybody tell exact approach in 2-3 lines (telegraphic lang)

pattern of disease------may it be iceberg concept of disease i wrote this.
sum students write Epidemiology for this ques.

rubbish is right for solid waste but in park word "refuse" use ..wat does it mean??

study partner
hi i wanna jain u but not a very regular user of net ........ staying in hostel .i can tell u mnemonics or ways to learn

kurubak
Aim AIIMS May 2011

small for date includes baby whose wt is less for that period it may be IUGR or PRETERM
RCH includes maternal health services n child health with family welfare is target free approach and goal oriented ,integrates other national progms
solid waste is c/a HOUSE HOLD waste

sunnykothiwala

ok share ur mnemonics....
solid waste which contain paper, plastic, wood is k/a rubbish.
house hold waste is not a specific term for this.
i think in house hold waste is garbage+rubbish.

wat is ergonomics???

mini_med

hello people!!!wake up!!!

sourav_111
Aim MD Medicine

icon_idea.gif garbage means FOOD waste materials

n ERGONOMICS = ERGON [work] + NOMOS [ law]

It means FITTING THE JOB TO THE WORKER after making a scietific study of the relationship between the nam and his working environment

sourav_111
Aim MD Medicine

sorry for the typo

corrected

ERGONOMICS means FITTING THE JOB TO THE WORKER after making a scientific study of the relationship between the man and his working environment

sunnykothiwala

thanks...
