sorry for late rplying i think u should have some histology book like IB singh or others nd regarding physio i think go for AK jain instead of chaudhary nd i didnt follow vasudevan for biochem instead i read satyanarayan its a gud book just have a look nd decide for urself for more details go for my thread which is available in the same link

see if u r really a ferocious reader nd can devote 2-3 hrs a day then go for it otherwise go for ganong or if u really want to do guyton just read some more basic chapters like CVS CNS etc from guyton

there are no tips or shortcuts for that particular question in my opinion u should concentrate more on building ur base nd concepts instead of going for marks as this will help u in long run
