you can extend your visa depending on your exam dates or clinical attachment
hope it helps

really it depends on whether you have applied for a visa before or not.
But there is a category of visa you can apply for called PLAB VISA which is usually valid for 6months......
Submit relevant documnets to your british high commision- proof of work and sponsorship, PLAB dates, location of address in Uk and some other assets you might have. You will likely get a 6months visa. You can then take things from then.
GOOD LUCK

Hello, Drs.
I am going to apply PLAB visa to UK soon. When I asked my local UK embassy, they gave me application forms ,saying it is visa form VAF1,and visa processing fee is 200 pounds sterlings. I saw the processing fee for 6 month-visitor visa is 63 pounds only. I am quite confused. Can anyone kindly explain to me?
Thank you and all the best!

yes brother, i have also inquired abt the same confusiion, but there is no one free here to answer!
what is this stupidity that vist visa fees is 9000 and PLAB visa,w hich is also a visitor one is 26000!
why, do we have to live at 10 downing street , on PLAB visa?
so thats its thats costly
