A 72 year old woman presents in the emergency department complaining of sudden osnet of severe generalized abdominal pain. Past medical history is unremarkable aside from stable angina and left leg claudication. Physical examination of the abdmonen is normal.

Save laparotomy for later and do a CXR instead to check for free air under diaphragm.
