HELLO,i m in west yorkshire n just got attachment.I tell u whole procedure, first go to drfoster[snip] website n find out consultants working in ur area n also speciality of ur choice. Then take any secretary details if given or talk 2 personnel department of the hospital where that doctor is working n ask consultant address.Send ur cv alongwith covering letter to that department.Wait for reply or after 1 week go to department n meet secretary for making an appointment with consultant. When consultant z agreed then there z a CRB check n occupational health check up before starting attachment. It becomes easy if u know somebody who can introduce u 2 consultant. If any querry i m happy 2 reply

Hi fern, what I can suggest you is to find an attachment in Obg and get reference in that and try to get in that hospital in that department a locum.
I know advisng somone is easy but in reality it is difficult. But it is what I am planning to do.
