Hi everyone...

The applications for admission to MD/MS/Dip NB/PG diploma courses have been called for the January 2008 session.

The exam is on 5th January 2008.

You can download the prospectus from the website. Applications can be given online. The last date for application is December 3rd.

I wen through the prospectus and I have a doubt.... there's a statement in the prospectus which says

'ALL POST GRADUATE TRAINING IN THIS INSTITUTION IS IN-SERVICE TRAINING ONLY'

what does that mean? does that mean that there's a bond to serve at the end of the course. People who know about CMC Vellore rules, please clarify the doubt.

I have no info on the special papers. I am giving the general paper for internal medicine on this saturday... Let's see how it goes...

I also had doubts on how they'll go about comparing the marks secured from the two different papers (i.e. general and special) for a given subject. For example, how do you compare marks obtained from general paper for Radiology with those obtained from special paper of Radiology? Don't you guys think that the special paper is likely to be tougher than the general paper?
