coanal atrasia improve with crying while vascular ring increase with crying and only improve with intubation this may be a hint , the qs is not complete

hi dr orthopaedics how can you know this is a pressure on a trachea if you have a child with coanal atrasia he will have the same symptoms and response

Hi Dr. asooma, its because in coanal atrasia the child will be breathing very well if he was crying but this senario is not compleat but as long as if you intubate he will be ok and if you extubate him he will turn blue again for more than one time so it is a vascular compression, and to tell you the truth I have read this question some where and I remember the answer. thanks
