Unlike the unofficial version, Installing this wont affect you firefox 2.0.0.9 profile.

If you are a firefox enthusiast and desperately waiting for the brand new Firefox 3 Beta, you can download the windows version from the Mozilla Webpage i posted. Thanks to the digg enthusiasts who released this news and the link.
Its is not a release version, but only a potential release candidate.
Almost all of your add-ons will not work in it.
And it will over write your default firefox 2.0.0.9 version.
So installing it in a virtual partition using apps like Sandboxie/Buffer zone will be ideal.
One thing i want to say about this version, Its lightning fast and memory consumption is also low.

Firefox 3.0 is going to have 3 cool new looks.
i.e A cool Vista look for firefox-Vista
A cool Safari look for firefox-Mac &
A cool XP look for firefox-XP

Some new features in FF 3.0
 Easy to make & organize bookmarks.
A new option called "places" in your bookmarks bar. Very useful in organising your bookmarks and tags.
Integration of Plugins into the Add Ons panel and a new 'Restart' button.

At around 4am PST today, the last of the Firefox 3 Beta 1 release candidate builds appeared on our public This was mistakenly reported on Digg as the official release of the first Firefox 3 Beta. It’s extremely flattering to get this sort of attention, and we know that it’s motivated by the very best of intentions, but it does cause us three major problems:
1. The release candidate builds have not been thoroughly tested by our QA group,
2. we haven’t completed all the steps required for a beta release (see below), and
3. these builds aren’t being mirrored properly on our servers

Firefox 3 has an inbuilt Daily Bookmark Backup facility
Firefox 3 really makes the whole bookmark management a piece of cake.
It even has an inbuilt daily bookmarks backup facility!
