Dear Friends I m in final yr completing on july 2008 from Almaty.All of us facing the same problem that's monopoly of MCI,i mean to say whatever MCI want it gets, n
we are only the victims we haven't any right for rechecking the paper in the screening test .
There is no criteria of distribution of marks according the subjects,As MCI wants it puts question paper according to its own,
NOW WHAT WE HAVE TO DO?
The basic problem is that we are not unite.
ANYBODY AMONGS YOU KNOW THAT HOW WE CAN USE OUR RIGHTS TO RESTRICT MCI MONOPOLY?
ACCORDING TO MY OPINION MCI NOT DOING JUSTICE WITH US,
HAVE U ANY OTHER BETTER SUGGESTIONS IN THIS CASE.
SO LETS FRIENDS BE UNITE TOGETHER AND THINK TOGETHER BCOZ ONLY HARD WORK IS NOT ENOUGH FOR CLEARING SCREENING TEST,WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ELSE.
WHAT'S UR OPINIONS................................... ?

my dear sandy, I fully agree with you that there is a monopoly of the MCI in the conduction of screening test. I passed the screening in Sept. 2005and also completed my internship. I am now preparing for my PG exam here. I want to tell you that even in the PG exam in india thre is limit to no of questions from each subject. even though it is given in the prospectus that a particular subject has so many marks mcqs to be asked. also in the indian pg exam there is no recheckiing of the paper. on the other hand we have 2 advatages as compared to the indian pg exam. the first and the most imp. is that there is no negative marking in the screening and the 2nd is that there is no merit list and only 50 is the passing crieria. i the indian pg exams we have negative marking and also hav to come in the merit list to get a seat.so we are fortunate that we are getting trained for the indian pg exams atleast half of the rules of indian pg exams are observed in screening test. get used to it and believe me for a successful carrear here in india here pg is absolutely necessary unless you have a plan to settle abroad and even for these you have to give a even tougher exam(PLAB AMC USMLE etc). so get used to it it will be in your favour. no use of crying like a small child. the MCI has relaxed a tule already for us in 2004 which says we can give screeing in unlimited attempts .earlier it was only 3 attempts if you know it. do not unite against the mci or the national board or the health ministry. you will be the ultimate sufferers.

Thanx boss,for give advise n showing me right way for my success.......Plz be more kindly n tell how to do prepare my self for screening.U know what was the last result it was7%,thats y i m dperessed.
Is there only few students who can score the 50%, i saw the paper of sep 2007 thats not so easy bt not too hard also........
u r saying right,that mci already given us conssesion in attemptting the test,bt insteed of that they have done some thing else.............Really i don't know what i have to do......i m doing study but............GOD knows

my dear you will be graduating in 2008 June if i am not wrong. are you studying in english or russian medium. i did was like this. i had taken Salgunan (MCQ book containing around 18000 MCQS with me Russia in my 5th year. whenever i used to get time i used to go through a few mcqs tgrer. what you do is try to get one from your friends there if you dont have one and read it for the next 2 months as much as you can.then frm feb u concentrate on your exams there as you need to get your diplom there first. so dont read Salgunan . thereafter when you give the exams you will need to stay there for a month to complete all the translation work and the attestations. so in thet time you again start to read ssalgunan. remember your degree there would have been finished and you will feel tempted to enjoy after that. enjoy for 2 to 3 days then read. when you come to india immediately go to delhi and join a crash course.THE EARLIER YOU GO THE BETTETR.you stay there till your exams. most important dont think negatively. always think thatyou will get through. i know two of my friends from MOSCOW who gave the screening in their first attemopt in SEPT 2007 and passed. so you see you can be one of those 7%.so good luck to you

hey man!
don't blame MCI for your own failure . MCI is not forcing you to clear the exam . If u have problem with MCI then u can Register with other countries medical boards.
u telling hard work alone is not enough. so what u want to do else?
twist MCI ' s arm in other way to get urself pass . as fas as i know , the MCI screening test is quiet easy and if u have some knowledge of the subject. u can easily clear it. and morover it does n't test ur clinical skills and intelligence as some of the foreign exams like USMLE etc. so i think lillttle bit of hard work will fetch u a pass.
if u can't even clear a screening test,then u should blame only urself and no one else.
THIS IS JUST A SCREENING TEST MIND YOU!!!

WHATS WRONG AND WHY TO BLAME MCI'S POLICIES IF U R SCARED AND DEPRESSED OF A SCREENING EXAM???
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT!!!!!
MCI IS GIVING U A VALID REGISTRATION WITH JUST A PASS IN SCREENING TEST !!!
NOW THAT 'S WHAT I CALL A THROW AWAY!!!

OK SO YOU WANT THE MCI GUYS TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE OVER A CUP OF COFFEE AND HAND OVER YOU A WHITE GOLD EMBROIDED REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE!!!

AND JUST BECAUSE THEY NOT DOING IT, IT MEANS THAT THEIR POLICIES ARE WRONG????
AND YOU WANT ALL THE MEDICAL FRATERNITY TO UNITE AT INDIA GATE WITH THOSE FLASHY CANDLES IN HAND !!!!!!
