Hi guys,

Talked to DMER TODAY ,THEY SAY BY END OF THIS WEEK BUT DID NOT ASSURE A DATE ,DUE TO SOME PROBLEM,

TO HELL WITH THEIR PROBLEMS ,CHARGE 1800??? FOR NOT DELIVERING ADMIT CARD TO HOME ADRESS,AND GUYS LIKE ME WHO COME FROM SATES LIKE Punjab TO FILL FORMS WITH NO RESERVATIONS AVAILABLE ON TRAINS ON SHORT NOTICE WASTING TIME AND MONEY FOR WHAT FAULT OF OURS?? CAN'T THEY INFORM DATES AND STICK TO THEM WELL IN TIME???

DMER IS INFANT WITH NO EXPERIENCE IN CONDUCTING EXAMS SHUD GIVE IT TO SOME OTHER BODY OR MAKE WHOLE PROCESS EASIER LIKE AI/AIIMS AND VERIFY AT THE TIME OF ADMISSIONS THANX TO THE HEFTY 1800 CHARGES AS COMPARED TO 500 IN AIIMS /AI

but v r the 1s who need xam and seat , not they........

thats y v hav 2 suffer

these stupid people dont care about ne1........
they rnt bothered about xam or students or any doc's career........
all they can c is money.......

wat v can do is inform each other through the forum imediately wen we cum 2 know about it.......

NOTIFICATION
Entrance Examination (PGM-CET 2008) for Admission to Medical Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma)
Entrance Examination (PGM-CET 2008) for Medical Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) will be held on Sunday, 2oth January, 2008 from 10.00 a. m. to 1.30 p. m.
The cost of application form along with the Information Brochure of PGM-CET 2008 and Examination fee is Rs. 1800/- to be payable by Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn on any Nationalised or Scheduled commercial Bank in favor of "Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai" payable at Mumbai. The Brochure and Application Form will be available at the following Government Medical Colleges from 17/12/2007 to 29/12/2007.

Application forms duly filled in along with attested photocopies of required certificates can be submitted in person from 17/12/2007 to 29/12/2007. at any of the above centers. The application form should not be sent by post/Courier, such forms will be rejected without any intimation.
Eligibility Criteria
1) A candidate must be an Indian National.
2) Candidates who have passed final M.B.B.S. examination and completed one year internship training from a recognized medical college included in the Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and situated in Maharashtra , affiliated to Non-Agricultural Universities established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 or the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998 and who have obtained permanent registration either from the Medical Council of India or Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) will be eligible to appear for PGM-CET 2008 subject to fulfillment of following conditions.
2.1 For candidates who have passed final MBBS from Government/Corporation Medical Colleges:-
a) Candidates who have passed final MBBS before November/December 2004 and completed internship are eligible.

b) As per Government Resolution No.MED-1006/CR-5/06/Edu-2 dated 31/7/2006, the candidates who have passed final MBBS exam in November/December 2004 from Government / Municipal Corporation Medical Colleges and completed internship and (i) have completed minimum 4 months of Government Service OR (ii) have paid stipulated bond amount to Government.
c) Candidates who have passed final MBBS after November/December 2004 and completed internship by end of September/October, 2006 should have served the Government/Corporation for one year OR have paid the stipulated bond amount to the Government.
d) The candidates who have passed final MBBS examination after November/December 2004 and have not completed their internship by end of September/October 2007 [i.e. those candidates who are not covered by clause (c) above] and are likely to complete the same by 31st March 2008 are eligible to apply for appearing at PGM-CET 2008 subject to the condition that candidate will have to pay the stipulated bond amount to the Govt. before submission of application form for PGM-CET 2008. It is clarified that if such student is not inclined to pay the stipulated bond amount to the Govt. but is inclined to undertake one year Govt. service as contemplated by the aforesaid Govt. Resolution dated 31st July 2006, then in that event, such candidate will have to FIRST complete 1 year Govt. service and then appear at the next PGM-CET 2009.
2.2 The candidates who have passed final MBBS examination from Private Medical Colleges and completed/completing internship by 31st March 2008 are eligible.
2.3. Eligibility for In-service candidates will be as per criteria laid down by the Public Health Department for M.M.&H.S. Medical Officer candidates and E.S.I.S. candidates; and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for BMC candidates.
3) The candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for MBBS course and who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGM-CET-2008. Such candidates should submit (i) certificate from the Dean of respective medical college stating that the candidate was admitted under 15% AIEE quota for MBBS course, and (ii) certificate of Domicile of Maharashtra .
4) Those candidates who have passed the Final MBBS Examination from conventional non Agricultural Universities of Maharashtra /MUHS, Nashik will be eligible to appear for PGM-CET-2008.
5) The candidate who has obtained MBBS degree from Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGM-CET-2008.
