hi ASH B,i like to know if i have employment authorisation in tthe processing of green card,will that be considered in IMG friendly hospitals.ur inputs had really been a lot help in knowing various issues in USMLE .I hope u could help me in this regard. thanks

hi there,

u'll have employment authorisation for everything once u get a GC..as u'll also get a 'complementary' social security no., which is required by any job in the US.

I'm not clear about your question but there is a general rule that is the program doesn't have to sponsor you a visa, your prospects certainly increase both in programs that sponsor visa otherwise and certainly in programs that do not sponsor visa at all. Since you would have EAD, it'll certainly help.
