Hi there!!
Recently done my PLAB and for registration with the gmc, i have to give in my good standing certificate now.
The form hasa lot of requirements which are difficult if not entirely impossible for me to fullfill from here. Has anyone got it done recently and could they tell me how they went about it?

u just have to fill the form on pmdc site n send em ur photos n copy of ur reg certificate and fee

I have been to the pmdc website and have downloaded the forms. It's just that they requirements they have on it are a bit far fetched.

First they want an affidavit on a a stamp paper declaring why i need the certificate or a ketter or proof stating that i need the GSC and then they want my copy of the certificate to attested by the principal or associate professor of a medical college aswell as a medical superintendant of a hospital or the wequivalent.

How do you get around all of that when you're sitting here.
Is there any other way of doing things?

And I am a grad of army medical college but wasn't an enrolee for the army even though we faced all the rigors of it.

actually all of us who got it done..got it done 'the way it's supposed to be'....so um...i guess that's the only way!!

(have you had alternative ways of doin things ever?? cuz personally I guess following the rules is what most ppl do)

Actually what i was trying to say was that is there an alternative to the affidavit? Could we ask the GMC for a letter requiring the GSC or do they not do that? I wasn't referring to anything illegal god forbid. I was just asking for an easier way of getrting things done!!

you can attest all documents from pakistani embassy for Cgs or affidavit from pakistan that what is written in form. so if you are in uk you can go for option 1 go to embrssy try that.
i had recently got my cgs from pakistan .I have done graduation from army medical college as well.
