I wish I could join anyone but I live out here in Gisborne. Also taking the April 5 exam. Also searching in the dark with two hands and a flashlight how to prepare for this. Got a go with a hospital soon as I get my application confirmed by the council.
Hey, what books are y'all reading for this exam. Im using material for the Step 2 CS. Dont know if thats wise. Please help. If anybody can answer, how did your observership go? What kind of activities do you do there?

Hi everybody, I am from "Connect Communications" I am a guest to your website and I have some information about a Communications Skills course run by NZ doctors that could be useful to help you prepare for the April NZREX exam. I hope you don't mind if I post the info here...

Dear Doctor, in response to interest expressed by NZREX candidates Connect Communications is now offering another communication skills course to assist in preparing for the April NZREX examination. This will be held on Sunday March 9 from 9am till 4pm, consisting of six hours of small group coaching with one hour for lunch. The course will involve reviewing the communication skills requirements for the NZREX exams, and practicing consultations with simulated patients (professional actors) with facilitation and FEEDBACK from a skilled medical facilitator.
The venue will be in central Auckland. The fee is $750.00 plus GST per person.
