Hi all ! I needed to know what the job prospects will be for a uk permanent resident trained overseas with 1 yr house job , 9 months - 1 yr radiology postgrad experience , 1-2 publications; after taking PLAB . is it a fresh startwith fy2 or is there a chance to get st1 in radiology ?

There is no harm in applying for both ST1 and F2.
The only challenge is that when applying for st1,they ask for evidence of completion of the foundation programme.BUT try anyway,ur experience may be an advantage for st1.wish u all the best

Hello NITA,Congratulations!!!!! u got fy1 .I just have few questions regarding FY1.I have done 1 yr house job back home n i m on spouse visa here,what do u think keeping in mind my visa status n house job,can i still get job in fy1.Many many thanks in advance for ur favour.

I would suggest you to keep on applying for jobs and to be honest your chances of getting jobs are better than others.
For f1 & f2 they don't want a very experienced person either.

I am desperately seeking job at the moment but unfortunately no reply from anywhere.I get so frustrated but going through this forum gives me strenghts and little bit of hopes . I have done 1 year of house job back home 5 years back,did few attachments couple of years back fortunately got full registration with GMC ,did courses like ILS.still not able to get the job. not even a single shortlisting.Isn,t it frustrating.So what could be the drawback that is not helping me with the job prospect.Is it my career gap...so friend i would be extremely grateful if you shed light on this matter. what should i do to increase the chance of getting atleast shortlisting.appreciate ur advice. thanks..
