Hi Shruthi,
I suppose its something you have to do some groundwork for. Are you aware of any people around you who are working in clinical genetics? If there are, they can be your guide.
As to what i believe, Clinical Genetics is a promising field in almost all countries. If you can, google and find colleges in India that offer clinical genetics courses and contact them to know the prospects. Or go to online job sites and see the rate of acceptance of people in Clinical genetics.

Thanks for your reply. I know in western countries there are many clinical geneticians and they have forum for most of the genetic diseases... ( it has to be accreditated to start a practice in genetics

I am wondering in this forum does anyone have any idea about clinical genetics in India.. I am still to find out colleges in India... If I find some useful info I am going to post it right away.

thanks, it did be great if someone did post some relevant info about Clinical Genetics because alot of Indian people are interested in it.
