friends i think this will be a low scoring exam....what you say... expected cutoff for 2000 rank at 58 percent. 65 percent within top 500 and 68 percent within top 100.

Yes... May be....

But the pity is that we do not know what our score is.....

There are so many questions with controversies.....

I think the cut off's going to be the same as any other year... around 60%... The paper being tough isn't going to make a difference in this.. Maybe the top score's gonna dip a little this year... Wat say??

i am expecting 52- 55 % and that s a shock for me, i never thought the al india will go so bad, more because of lack of time and also because of the lack of compassion by examiners..............i bet they wont select good candidates in this exam, they would select more of swift and more of lucky candidates.............its a pity that all 5 yrs and 1 yr we learn skill and knowledge and at the end they test book worm ness , luck, and speed...............and no question of knowledge

i just am holding myself up barely.........feeling absolutely disheartened

True.. This paper had a lot of chance for the luck factor to work... with so less repeats and so many new topics... Hope our luck works too...

But the main problem in this exam is that you CANNOT know your exact score..... It may vary by 4% on either side and that means, whether you are getting rank 100 or whether you are out of the list is entirely based on the KEY set by AIIMS and that depends on Luck..... (of you having read the same book as that of examiner)

While repeats have come down this time, the number of ambigous questions have risen and this can change your rank from 50 to 3200 or vice versa.....

So Unless You are having a score of 70 % (AIIMS negative mark is 033, AIPG negative is 0.25), and that too after taking all doubtful questions as wrong, you can never even tell whether you are in the list of not

Painful,
Bitter
but
True
