iam from Andhra . i am unaware of the most repeated topics and important subjects regarding JIPMER .are genetics and immunology important?what is preventive medicine weightage in JIPMER ?what are the imp subjects for JIPMER .which is the best q bank to go thru ,is it omkarnath or paras?kindly suggest

No use going thro omkarnath, also no other valid useful books is available.
PSM has equal weightage as in any other exam.
As far as heard from seniors, not much were reperated in the couple of yrs.
Only advise seems to be to read text.

is a question bank for previous papers of JIPMER available?
as compared to all india how can the exam b ranked?

question banks: by Omkarnath is available. But i'm not sure about the reliability of questions and esp answers. There are many mistakes in it. Moreover recent question papers(2006&2007) are not there in the book.

JIPMER as for as i enquired will be straight forwarrd memory based questions. Case scenario or long questions as in all india are not commonly asked. very few ll be there.

P.s. i'm jus first timer for JIPMER this time. Hope some experienced / person with more knowledge about JIPMER exams writes more about the exam here.
