After extensive interaction with the students of KIMS.... Ive come to a very important conclusion....
DONT JOIN KIMS UNLESS U DONT HAVE ANYOTHER WAY TO DIE....
The rules are idiotic...
The regulations are all meant to give you a constant threat to your seat
.
The management treats you worse than dirt
You are supposed to wear uniform
And apron is a must even if you go to the bathroom...
Undergraduates are not supposed to keep mobile phones or laptops
Nobody is allowed to speak their mind
even its necessary
You can never talk to the principal
.
Everything has to go through proper channel
Applying for leave is a long and painstaking method
Do one mistake and they make it a big fuss
and mostly you will be marked for death
During exams the management makes sure that you dont pass
100% attendance is required
if not you dont write the exam
Nobody wants to help you and most of the times you feel helpless and insignificant
There is no laughter ever heard in the campus and no smiles on the faces
All have fear and sorrow written on their faces
Even the security guard treats you like an insignificant insect
Level 4 workers have more independence than you
and behave as if they are more superior to you
You cant complain if any fan or blub is not working as its not your job to complain
You cant walk in groups of more than 3
You cant write letter for something in groups as the management thinks that you are forming some sort of a group which will retaliate against them
You dont get all the government holidays
because the management thinks it is bigger than the government
. The maximum numbers of holidays are less than 15 per year
.
And whatever holidays you get are set to include Sundays so that they get more working days from you
coming to food
You only get non-vegetarian on two days i.e. on Wednesday and Sunday
as they know no one will be there on Sundays
There are time limits to when you can have what
and discrimination between post graduates and undergraduates
there is not time restraints for sweepers and cleaners
they can eat whenever they want
And the list is never ending
this is all I can write down at this moment
ill keep you updated on more events as I get to know more
If you have any queries please dont hesitate to ask
will be more than happy to help
But remember you dont deserve the kind of treatment you get at KIMS
and if you can get a seat in some other college please go for it but dont choose one here as you will regret
99% of the students that Ive met are either depressed, mad, angry or are undergoing some sort of psychiatric therapy

well, for what it`s worth, u won`t feel as a nimrod after u get out of mbbs,as u will in other colleges, uncertain and incompetent as much as u were when u joined the college.

i resent that remark ... there are several other PRIVATE colleges ... but they dont supress you or your right to freedom or speech ... take for example mamta and SVS ... and from them I didnt find many uncertain or incompetent doctors ... and as for uncertain and incompetent doctors you can always find them at government colleges as well .... its not the college that shapes you but after attaining an age of maturity you should be in a position to shape yourself ...
