Riboflavin can be destroyed by exposure to sunlight or fluorescent light. For this reason, foods that contain this vitamin - such as milk - should be stored away from light, preferably in opaque containers.

Vitamin A is most easily destroyed by UV-A rays (at about 332nm). UV-A rays can penetrate right into the dermis. Sunlight causes not only a lower concentration of vitamin A in the skin, but prolonged exposure can also lower the blood levels of vitamin A.
