pls does anyone have information about the hsbc bank account you can open on a visitors visa pls i understand that there is one that you need to pay a monthly fee but i dont have the details.

hey,
i am a british national and i just moved to the UK. i tried to open an account with HSBC. As I didn't have a proof of address in the UK i couldn't open one. to prove your address you can show them an electricity bill or tv insurance or a letter of employment addressed to you and wherever you're living. i have an account now but in another bank and i had to show them my letter of employment.

i had bflexible saver when i opened then they asked me to upgrade to bank account plus which is a rip off, since it's half price 6-7£ a mounth few months then went to 12.95 with no benefit for me at all- like international travel insurance, i will be goin back to basic savings account soon

only problem with me i 'd gone overdraft several times so each transaction overdraft they charged me 25£ one time i had 125£ total charges for overdraft so you asked them dates to charge your account day or two after you're expected money comes in like your pay so to organize your bills.
they have the passport account for newly moved to uk individuals but you check on website, i've tried asking branch staff they never heard about it.

i've shown them my crb like papers from my country, my PLAB booking papers and some bank details from my country

yes these papers showed my address in my home country
