I think quite a few members from west bengal forum have got ranks in WB08 . Please tell your rank how many u got correct,how many wrong and estimated percentage

My rank is 196.i was expecting 68-70% marks.it must have been a high scoring exam.i am a bit disappointed with my performance.let's see what AIPG has in store.by the way,can i get DMRD,MD PATH with this rank?kindly let me know............

no chance . both end around 120 in second counselling .
and this is the general rank . counselling will be by 100 point roster . so u rank goes back alarmingly

My personal suggestion is if u r a fresher then tk light diploma and study for the next yr.Else if u don't feel like studying this MCQs any more then better opt for a good Diploma like DCh. With available options of MRCPCH (UK) which u can appear from India (all the 3 parts) u can floursih well and practice well.

U can also tk up DTCD and go for MRCP fom India only.
Then DNB course is going to face a massive change in its form. If u have a recognized diploma and then join a DNB course in that subject then u get the same weightage of MD if not more.

God has given u chance to be a doctor be like it.Treat people ,earn the recognition and respect (though there r chances of getting bashed up-but exception is not the rule)and not the least money.Don't even think of taking those pre para subjects (remeber we used to laugh on those of our professors during our Pre para days).

In periphery with Dch only u can jolly well earn 40K to 50K if not more.

but beware too much work in DCH.
n there is d bond also.
u should prepare again.

first of all congrats for getting a rank. u sud b very hopeful of getting a diploma seat in eye in cmc bcos last year one of my senior manage to got that at around rank 460
