Does anyone know what is the difference between MS and MD Anat as some places offer MD instead of the usual MS Anat... confused...

MCI considers Postgraduation in Anatomy as a MD now which was MS earlier and has taken OBG as MS now on...it varies state to state but it will become universal soon.

Doesnt MD means PG in subjects of Medicine like Derm
n MS means PG in Subjects of Surgery?? now how is this related to anat..??

all the subjects that u study from ur 1st to final yr of MBBS has either MD or MS as a specialization so is Anatomy ...it was considered MS earlier...now its MD...only General surg, Obs n Gyn, orthopaedics , Ophthal and Otorhinolaryngology(ENT ) has MS. Rest all are MD.
