hiii.... i am a TE computer student now and i am planning to give GRE in the month of october.... My academics are in a fair enough position right now, I have an average first divsion, considering scores of 5 semester's.

I know GRE score is important ....but it is also required to keep my profile records as high as possible.... So, what should be done for that, rather what can i do for that..... Also what type of certificates, activites will be adventegous for me...

In short, please guide me on how to make a high profile when i apply to the universities there..Please guys help me out...

thanks

I am not sure about computer fields, but i can give you a general overview for every admisson.
You need a good GPA, some solid Letters of Recommendation, good TOEFL scores, experience in related fields, and a great Statement of purpose to make a application attractive.
Make sure you have great academics, also include good extracurricular activites in your resume, anything that shows your versatility, or improves your performance in the related field.
Attendance of seminars, projects presentations, research activities, poster presentations and other such things can be helpful. Experience, either job or volunteering can be helpful too.
Lastly, great recommendation letters and a great Statement of purpose can pull you through.
