I have done MD Paediatrics 1 yr back. Am interested in appearing for MRCPCH . Can somebody guide me how to proceed and the expenses and time involved? Do I need to write first part?

only do MRCPCH , if u want to be in UK or are already in UK. no future inUK. very expensive deal total 1400 pounds just for all exams , if u clear in 1 go, which is difficult sometimes. add to it travel, hotel, books etc. everything is in pounds. better write USMLE or go to middle east if u want to earn money only.

but Ghotu, even in middle east foreign degrees are considered to be better than indian MD, true?

MD/MS is widely accepted in middle east..if you have additional foriegn degrees and DNB you will paid more...

hi ghotu ...in the future there will be demand for highly qualified professionals and they wil be paid more..jus MD is not enof..shud do DNB , MRCPCH , fellowship programs ..corporate hospitals are everywhere now a days...consultants are paid well....

you say 1400 pounds ..let it be 3000 pounds inclusive of all....around 2.5 lakhs..i feel spending that wil not be waste...to clear it in frst attempt you have to work hard..nothing is impossible..y to think abt failures now before we start? God will bless...

top consultants in peadiatrics are paid upto nearly 1lakh per month...

i want to know if all parts of MRCPCH can be written in india or middle east without going to Uk .. need help with this as i have heard abt ppl clearing MRCP without ever goin abroad.. is it really possible? ..

Hi Doctor, MRCP exams can be given from India ...but not MRCPCH ..for Indian citizens only UK is the center....though there are some other centers in differnt countries...all info is given clearly in the site ...

thanx doc. u just ,made evrythin clear for me.. after seeing their website and gettin some news from friends, i was confused .. bit sad that MRCPCH cant be given in india or middle east .. that would have saved a lot of money..
