Dear Friends,

Exams are over and the counselling process is all set to begin. There were a lot of problems during the exam process eg :-

1. Standard of the paper varied on different slots and days.

2. Rank for score system was followed and not percentile.

3. PC's hanging during exam.

Etc Etc.....

This is a thread for people to come out with their views on this examination process. Also do take part in the poll.

Regards,
Dr. Firaz

Conventional question paper with questions jumbled in four or five sets will do a nice transparent selection procedure with same yardstick as basis.

If they want transparency they can have it in the above system also.

rank system with various question paper sets is a big gamble and not necessarily fair because of faulty methodology.

there should be only one paper like all other exams.this time, the scores were very different and not comparable.the institute should take note of this and follow percentile system if cannot take re-exam.we don't expect this from a top ranking college.

There are very few people who are coming up with their views on this topic. If we could have mopre people sharing their views then we could all unite and write to the Manipal admissions division about this lacunae in their exam process so that it can be rectified atleast next year. Else this same unjust system is going to continue and all we can do is just sit back and complain. So I request all to put down their views here and also to send mail to the admissions division ([email address in profile] manipal.edu).

Regards,
Dr. Firaz
