I had to repost several posts of mine in the MAHE forum since there is no option of editing ones own post. RxPG being such a popular site amongst the medicos should try to include this provision in all the forums so that it can be more time saving.

If there already exists such an option, kindly enlighten me how to use it/find it.

well your idea is good . but as a temporary relief you may contact the respective moderator , if in case no one as such then you may very well write ur infos where exactly editing / correcting is needed ( u may even write the entire info / text that needs change) so that the necessary action will be taken by the admin .

Hi,
Post editing is disabled in most of the study forums in RxPG.
However forums like Offbeat or Tech-Zone do have this facility.
The most easy and quick solution to avoid any mistakes while posting will be,
Always your post before submitting it.

Any special reasons why its been disabled in the study forums? There are times when you accidently click on the send button before even completing your post and it gets sent half cooked. I believe there are more reasons why the feature of editing ones own post should be allowed even in the study forums.

i too have the same reply , sorry no idea !!

my guess is that if editing is allowed then it may affect the entire thread if in case the first post in the thread is edited or changed entirely .... here all the replies will go twisted without a proper topic or query .

but there should be some specific special reason that made them to prevent editing of posts . icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif
