Q. Fluoroquinolones have the following properties:
a) they have good oral bioavailability
b) interfere with bacterial folate synthesis
c) can be given safely in children
d) they inhibit bacterial DNA Gyrase
e) drug of choice for salmonella infections

Better avoided in children and adolescents except when life saving and no other alternative safer drug available. ... Can cause tendon rupture
