hi guys,
plz let me know about the NIMHANS entrance exam pattern.
wt is the total no. of questions?
time given?
is the question paper same for mbbs and md candidates in case of neurology n neurosurgery enrance?
does the paper include all the subjects or only neurology?
whr can i find previous year question papers?
can mbbs doctors apply for both neurology and neurosurgery at the same time?

around 160 to 180questions....get the omkarnath book for previous year papers.....now a days the paper includes questions from most of the subjects.....

appeared for the exam last itme.common exam for both neurology and neuro surgery.160 mcqs.0.5 negative marks.not so tough but competition is close.they put only 9 names on board the next day.dont know what happen to rest.am appering again.omkarnath book not that useful.harrison neurology part must.rest is general.no need to concentrate on neurosurgery.all qs come from harrison.any doubts, contact me

it has 160 questions to solve,and 120 mins to enjoy.

0.5 mark deducted for every wrong one, none for unanswered.

use 2B black pencil to shade answers.

the admit cards will be posted around the end of may, or rather its only a confirmation of ur application and gives u necessary information. the actual admit card s with the NIMHANS , u ll sign them in the test center itself.

regarding the questions, any one with a good grasp of basic anat/physio/patho and a few revisions of harrison should find easy.
the test itself is not that diificult, but the competition s for the [3+3]*2=12 seats, among the 5000+ guys who attempt it.

hi. can u plese help me out about the pattern of exam ? i have applied for DM /MCh 5 year course !!WEIGTAGE GIVEN TO WHICH SUBJECTS. no of question subject wise? wii they ask every thing of mbbs or beyond that?
