Just days before the exam!

Hello everyone!
As I prepare for the FMGE
and plan my time for the same, I am bound to think what would I be doing the last week before exam or may be two weeks ahead of the exam? Which out of the ‘21’ subjects would I be revising (even though I am not planning to be ready for all 21). What would I be doing then? Can our seniors enlighten our path to this issue?? What kind of things we should be reading and revising just days ahead of the exam except for the short notes that many of us might be preparing to go thru just before entering?
Looking forward for some good advice.

VITAMIN C
BEST THING WOULD BE TO REVISE WHATEVER YOU HAVE STUDIED IN PAST FEW MONTHS. MOST IMP SUBJECTS ARE MED, SURG, OBG, OPTHAL, PSM
,MICRO(AS TOLD BY MY SENIORS) AND THERE ARE 19 AND NOT 21 SUBJECTS.

hi vitamin !!!
preety cool id ......
ny wy in last 2 weeks u should study pharma , biochem - pathways specially protein nd carbohydrate metab ,Anatomy
- upper and lower limb , micro - bacteriology nd PSM
- vaccination and infectios diseases and much more as these subjects r factual and need to be concentrated fresh in ur mind before exam or they will get evaporated till u appear in exam , also , revise medicine specially the main pillars - cvs, respi , infectious , renal , nd endocrine also go through gyanecology and obstetrics once more .....
this is my advice and dont study in the last day just relax and think about the beautiful things in life which u want to enoy !!!!
i cleared my screening in 1st attempt and believe me itsnt hard u just
need to know basic concepts and facts and revise them again !!!
i hope it helps u and be confident nd brave as this ur first foot step in medicine and u ve to reach the summit 1 day ......bye buddy !!!!

Hello Jyotim, thank you for letting me know that there are 19 not 21 subjects. This surely is a better news!! Actually someone told me 21 and I didn’t even took the trouble of counting them for myself. I am just concentrating on the 12 subjects that I am gonna be doing.

I think that u r right in saying that the simple things that we know but need to remember on the exact moment in the exam should be on our fingertips before we enter the examination hall.

This will not only help in reducing the confusion and mix ups at the last moment but also help us save time to think about other questions.
We all always look forward to the valuable advice from our seniors on issues like this given that u unquestionably know better than us taking in account your experience.
Also please guide us on the last minute mistakes that are often made and should best be avoided… Things/topics/subjects that we should NOT be wasting our precious time on during the last few hours/days/weeks????
What about radiology?? How important is radiology for MCI screening?

buddy vit C ,
u r probelm is radiology , c in my exam had 2 questions , and both where simple. c radiology , Dermatology
, Forensic
are all fact based subjects and very simple and straight forward questions i got in my exam .
my advice -
if u dont have too much time , go through as many as queations of these subjects in the indian pg exams which have been asked either from AAA or any pg book in previous years .
if u have lot of time just go through small review books ( hand books )
for subjects like Forensic
, radio , Dermatology
and i am sure u wont miss any questions and u will get all questions right .
if u have ny genuine query u r most welcome and study hard and in a cheerful mood and dont think it is a burden study as if its a challenge ......this will increase ur concentration and u ll score great ......
and always help others when u pass this exam god will full fill all your dreams !!!
