hi
unofficially from the emails i have recieved the start dates are march 31 (cohort A), may 12 (cohort B) and july 7 (C).
They emailed yesterday that they will try to contact us this upcoming week -the delay was due to staff being away for march break. Just be patient, they work hard and will give us the info when it is available, dont email them or call for info as im sure they are overwhelmed with how many imgs are going to be doing the prp.

Hi dtse88.
This is not a time for you to cheer but to start preparing. Some of the residencies are not benign places, not in terms of professional preparation, but in terms of resident cooperation and hierarchy. The more competitive is your discipline, the more exposed you are going to be to criricism. You are going to be judged because you don't know where the papers are, how you should talk, how fast. Intrigues are not unheard of. And the more you know about your profession the more attacked you might become.I am saying this is not the case always, but you should be prepared.
If you are not well aware where you are going to start to work, that orientation is not going to help you.Start doing observership in the ward you will start, and learn anything, paper and people.

this post is kind of discouraging.......... i must say its not as bad as that......... there is of course competition and also one should realize that evaluation is a part of residents life............... my best wishes for you!!!
