have you noticed this time the AIIMS people asked to fill the application form with black ink ball pen........ not blue.....i just now noticed it.....

for filling the application you have to use black ink ball pen(read carefully the top lines of AIIMS application form.....alst time you can use blue or black...this time they have said use black ink.....hope you all have done it the right way......jsut now i noticed this fact[/b]

doesnt matter friends, blue or black the computer can read both, those who filled in blue need not panic

ya gotta read the instructions carefully before filling!
in my state CET form too there was instruction to fill scanned form in black ink but i had filled in blue but they accepted it! i suppose next time onwards better use black than blue...i suppose they suggest black because of the better contrast of black ink for scanning purpose

they specified it as black pen cos some ppl may other wise use pale shades of blue such as 'aqua' which will have difficulty in being detected by the scanner's sensors...

thats the technicality about it

provided that someone has filled in the form with a regular blue pen which is reasonably dark enough... there is not going to be any problem at all...

and then...
please dont let this thing stay in the back of ur mind and affect ur preparations...

i am too very sure about the sensitiviy of those scanners... in karnataka cet unfortunately only a pale streak of line went over the omr sheet and i lost 12 marks...
