cytomegalovirus, whenever you have EB clincal picture and atypical lymphoctes in blood film it is cmv mononeucliosis.
i am 99.9% sure icon_lol.gif

if heterophil test is -ve, EBV is ruled out. so correct ans is A - CMV

the only thing that doesnt fit here is presence of pharyngitis bc absence of pharyngitis is a differential criteria of CMV from IM.
