Hi everyone,I am an Amc candidate planning to give exam in september,could anyone please tell me whether a bank satement is required for the visa and what other documents are required and how long does it take for the processing if I am applying from Delhi 1 week before the exam,please tell me.

Yes, it is usually required as you will need to show proof that you have adequate finances for the duration of time that you'll be there. Please check immigration website for more info. Processing will depend on the visa type and visa duration. If you're applying to stay for longer than 3 months then a medical check is required and processing will be longer. If you're just applying for tourist visa, it can take around one week for processing provided you have submitted all required documents.

Are you taking the exam in Australia ? You can include a copy of acceptance of examination seat with the other documents.

Yes, of course but it depends on countries. In some countries you may be asked to apply for a short business visa.

Acceptance sheet is when you have applied and paid the fee for the exam and the AMC sends you a letter confirming that you are to take the exam on a certain date.

A multiple entry tourist visa would enable you to stay in Australia for 3 months at a time. But if you will do some kind of training/ studying/ work, you will have to undergo medical checks. Usually a minimum of AUD5000 is needed as proof. icon_smile.gif
