ALL COMEDK ASPIRANTS BEWARE OF CHANGED RULES TODAY- READ IT IN THEIR WEB SITE BEFORE DECIDING ON ATTENDING COUNSELLING.!!!!!

SALIENT POINTS :_

COMEDK WILL RETAIN ALL ORIGINALS AT COUNSELLING VENUE ITSELF. YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ORIGINALS BACK BY COMEDK.

( Earlier it was mentioned that the originals need be submitted only for verification at comedk venue and it will be returned . We need to submit after allotment at respective colleges . But now changed -certificates will not be returned ---that means you will not be able to attend other counsellings!!!!!!!)

REFUND ONLY FOR PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT HOLDERS - THAT MEANS CONFIRMED ALLOTTEES WILL FORFEIT ENTIRE FEES ??
(Earlier it was mentioned that candidates surrendering the selected seats on or before 21/04/08 will loose sum of Rs 10,000 for medical degree . But now it speaks only of provisional allotment and not confirmed allotment !!!!!!

Excerpts from COMEDK site is reproduced -READ IT AS YOU UNDERSTAND.

"The candidates are required to
get the documents verified and later to Register themselves in the counter where it
gets entered into the computer system. After verification the COMEDK will retain the
original set of all the documents / photocopies of the acknowledgement received from
any other organization where the candidate he / she is allotted.
• Any candidate who surrenders his provisional allotment on or before 21-042008 will be refunded the fee paid in total, except for Rs.1,000/- to be paid as
administrative expenses. Remaining amount will be refunded as crossed A/c
payee cheque to the candidate.
• Any candidate who fails to surrender the seat on or before 21-04-2008 without
converting the provisional allotment into the permanent allotment will forfeit
not only the allotted seat but also will be liable to pay a penalty of Rs.50,000/
in the fee that is already paid. Refund of the remaining amount will be made
available by crossed A/c payee cheque in the name of the candidate."
