Hi there
patient is sitting on bed, greeting, consent, washing hand and ask for vitals, comment about vitals, then start with b.p measurement, then verbelize compare with other side, and lower limb, then in standing position for orthostatic changes.
then hand examination: clubbing, cyanosis, splinter hmge, oslers node and janeway lesion.
then peripheral pulses, upper and lower with pitting edema. EYE: arcus senalis, xanthelesma and back of eye( not done). MOUTH central cyanosis,
NECK carotid bruie, pt sleeping 45 , check jvp, then chest inspection, pmi and heave, auscultate aptm areas, turn to left and listen to mitral area, then pt semi sitting, listen to base of lung from back and check for sacral edema, pt lean forward and listen for aortic area, and you 're done, the idea is to integrate as much as u can in the same position of the patient to spare time, don't forget to verbelize each step ,good luck icon_biggrin.gif
