hi dr rhythm
im sorry for posting a wrong kinda stuff in this forum, but since u mentioned u passed qe1 recently, i thoight maybe i could use a little bit of guidance frm u.
i have my qe1 in about 3 weeks, i dont think my prep is good enough. can u suggest on what areas should i concenterate most? where did u practice ur mcq's from. and also if u were to compare the difficulty level of evaluation with that of qe1, wht would u say?
a lot of questions, but it would be great if u could offer some advice and share ur experience.
thanks

hi kay jay
most imp with jus 15 days fr qe1 try managing ur anxiety and stress
dont think u havent prepared well despite utilize these last crucial days

mcq components of both exams are similar, although I have found the mcq's are twice as difficult for qe1...
Resources I used were rxpg.com and I made my own questions up marked thenm up , plus last yr exams qs were in handy too(qs and topics tend to repeat )

pay more attention to PSY /Obs - gyn / Peds / ethiccal issues
rest do mug up those side pearls in ur TN book

CRS - they ask
1. list dd's ( so do dd's well )
2. choose 5 investigations out of 10 ( so learn which labs we need for major diseases)
3. CTG's, Dermatology pics, xrays, pediatric charts.
4. list 5 points for counselling ( eg. menopause)

i am sure u ll do good
GL
