hello docs....
with all these controversy regarding non recognised seats in government run colleges i wud like to point out to MCI how the hell do private colleges get recognition for PG COURSES when they do not have facility and infrastrucure to run even basic mbbs degree course............
i can tell u this because i have done my ug from a private college in mumbai and i got so disillusioned with the way these cllges function that i decided that at no cost will i do my pg frm private cllge ...
MCI INSPECTION used to be like a mela , a week before the inspection the whole cllge used to undergo a transformation , new equipments [ never used before ] , fake patients , interns asked to become lecturers, professors hired for a day..., not only this flower pots, fountain Setc ...all these just for inspection .....
MCI talk about less professors in government colleges while truth is in private cllge apart frm less professors there are NO PATIENTS ...in paeds department no of residents is more than the patients .......
but inspite OF ALL THIS CRAP THE COLLEGE ALWAYS GET PERMISSION FOR NEW COURSES BECAUSE MCI GUYS GET THEIR SHARE OF BRIBE....
BUT AFTER SEEING APATHY OF GOVERNMENT CLLGE,and their RESP DEANS I FEEL MY UG CLLGE MANAGEMENT WAS BETTR ATLEAST THEY TOOK PAINS TO GET RECOGNITION FOR ALL THE PG COURSES even if the cllge didnt deserve it unlike thse GMCS where courses have not been recognized for 40 years

Well Vitamin 'M ' always works.
The management of private colleges works hard to get seats recognised beacuase it pays out ultimately when you get more seats to auction.
Afterall there is such a lucrative market out there for medical seats.
It's open secret how the AMUPDAC orchestrates the entrance exams and how results are 'Doctored'
And as I said Vitamin M always works and it works everywhere.
MCI also gets timely boosts of Vitamin M from private colleges ,so it's not a big deal.

heres how all private colleges in that particular city pay honoraries to visit on the day of mci inspection.they get around 7000-10000 a monthe for nothing depending on seniority.that adds up to 70000-100000 a year for attending for 2 days so every doctor in the city lines up who doesnt want free money .so tell are we ourselves to blame for the state we are in.why blame the govt when your fellow colleagues do this.
