I think one should take the term 'best' to mean easiest and least invasive to find a diagnosis. While it is not as sensitive and specific, it carries less risk of adverse outcome, etc...so I think an argument can be made that, from the patient's perspective, an US is the 'best way to diagnose a uterine polyp."
