hi everyone,

i am an Img who will be appearing in the step 1 exam in October.Well it'z way to early to ask about the advantage of doing preliminary medicine.What advantages can i gather if i put up my time doing preliminary medicine like any chances of getting highly sorted residency like Dermatology ,optha etc.... or will that help me in upgrading the university from the level which will be oferd to me at first place???

did u get an ans to that .besides what are the chances to get a RA/TA in the states in clinical fields for a yr and then go for the match ?kindly do let know. have competed the steps and am board certified .currently pursuing md med in india.
