Never thought that I could be the victim of Ten Trebles at a time. This happened just yesterday when I left for shopping with my mom. i came back with out shopping anything because of the following trebles. It really sounds funny when I see them now!
1) we started at 6:30 PM so that it cools by that time. We were just about to set our feet out , when my mom remembered that she did not do the evening puja. so se went in again and did it. i waited for 15 minutes for her to complete.
2) the puja is complete and i got out side the door when three children from the neighbourhood came distributing prasadams. my mom went in again to receive that and send the kids away.
3) we came down the apartment building and about to go out the gate when my mom remembered that she forgt the money purse in the house. we phoned to our house and asked my sister to bring the purse down.
4) we took the purse and went few feet when my aunt came towards us. talking to her took some 15 minutes more. and finally we came out of the gate of our apartment.
5) our luck! just as we kept our foot out power cut1 the whole road went black. and we didnt know what to do. but we started walking towards the shopping area.
6) it suddenly became cloudy! strong wind started blowing. I am doubtful whether rain will fall or not. we came with out any umbrella!
7) suddenly dust came blowing from every where. coupled with the darkness we are unable to see anything on the road. scooters and cycles are passing just by us and we are rubbing our watering eyes.
8) in this hutle one girl hit me with her cycle from the back. cant blame her. every one is suffering from the dust and the dark i got up brushed myself and started again.
9) we ran straight in front of another group coming in the opposit side . every one is running on the road frantically because evey one wanted to reach home before the rain came.
10) This is the final cut. we reached the shopping area. And we are shocked to see it empty. all shops were closed. it is May 1st and hence hoiday for all shops!
Thats how it happened. phew, a long evening. we finally came back home with emptyhands and watering eyes!
