Can anyone please highlight the conditions in the bond to be given in TN? Especially, how many years of rural service is there this year,the amount to be given??

Key figures regarding AIPG Seats / TNPG in Tamil Nadu

Fine for Discontinuing the course (except for AIPG 2nd Counselling)

Diploma - 1 lakh
Degree - 2 lakhs

Bond if you do not do Rural Service after PG

Diploma - 3 lakhs + Refund of Stipend
Degree - 5 lakhs + Refund of Stipend

the present batch which passed MD or diploma 2008 march have been ordered to work for 3 years rural service.

The new bond says not less than two years.that doesnt mean it is two years only.

Legally u can quit the service after 2 yrs,but it all depends when u get certificate in your hands

If you don't want to quit,you can continue in service also as the appointment is under / relaxation of Rule 10 A 1

Latest development is

for degree:-

Bond period is increased to 5 years (or)

Bond amount is 7 lakhs or 8 lakhs(not sure whether 7 or 8)+stipend

source-ask people who took seats in TamilNadu in All india 2nd counselling extended round.

I heard colleges like thanjavur are adopting the policy of passing the stipend particulars only after candidates sign the bond.

Most Colleges are adopting this policy

Even if you give the bond, colleges like MMC give stipend after 6 months. Something has to be done for this

The problem is non-unity among students

The problem with MMC is not non-unity among students.It is due to the administration there.
Those who studied in MMC know how the office works there-i mean Office superintendent and his Assistant are slower than a snail or tortoise.

I have heard that colleges like Chengalpattu and tiruchy are good with regard to this matter.
