This patient is dehydrated anyhow. If your patient is severely dehydrated after when you treat aggressively with diuretics, would you give the patient inotropic agent because you are scared of aggravation of CHF ? We should think one more time for the real playing ground. If you give this patient the 'inotropic agent', the patient will die. The patient has no fluid to send from his/her heart, his/her heart strenuously contract the heart that contains no fluid. Is it not an irony ?
