Quick Scroll rules and moh exam in abudhabi 05.08.08 (5 months ago) #1

yes this is true the exam is from swanson book but there is no standard pattern as they select the questions randomely . its 100 question and the time is around 2 hours as i told you the best way to pass is to solve previous moh exams and they never realese those exams so you have to look for doctors whom have those exams if you want to study for that exam readusmle step 2 exams and swanson exams but you have to put in mind that around 200 or more sit for that exam only around 20 pass and even after the exam the number will be less after the oral exam which might even drop to 10 or so ????? the situation of this exam is realy complicated if you want another advice concentrate in psychatry and Dermatology
you have only 3 chances to do this exam if you passd the paper and failed the oral you are considered failer for the whole and you have to sit for both again next time
you have to have interneship and 2 years experience total of 3 yeras to do the exam
this exam allow you to work outside abudhabi only in remote areas but if you want to work in abudhabi you have to sit for the authority exam and for dubai doh and i think its oral exam only
and by the way recently in govermental hospitals you can work without the need for those exams if you have permenant registration from the country of graduation but they want minumum 2 years experience after internship and for emergency departemets 4 to 5 years
and by the way if you have USMLE 1 and 2 certificate you will not sit for moh paper you will have oral exam only
the pass marking depend on the curve only ( the highest marks for the exam group)and you are not allowed to know your mark failed or passed ???
swanson book is available in elmotanabe book shop 400 dh
