Atlas i am done with AMC. Exam was tricky & its no more doable now.They are adopting more of a USMLE oriented qs now. U can ask me if u have any doubts.More than happy to help.

I passed my MCQ 1 year ago because people of this forum helped me. Bridging course and study groups were not really usefull for my MCQ.

Now a dear friend of mine is sitting MCQ in July.

Hi,
pls dont be dependent on recalls .Read recommended textbooks to clear ur concepts. There is no short cut for AMc now. U need to know ur stuffs . Am not sure if am allowed to post the recalls here or not.

Thats fine , shall obey the rules by AMC for not posting the recalls. But if anyone would want any help in regards with the prep for AMC exam , pls feel free to ask.
I prepared for this exam by investing5-6 months of on-off study. My main books were Johnmurtagh, oxfords, toronto notes. But i feel these are not sufficient. U need to have some basic knowledge from textbooks as well. The list of books which AMC has provided , pls go through them & try to solve as much as qs u can from all sorts of different sources.
Still if u have any doubts, feel free to discuss. Dont underestimate AMC guys !!!!!!

hi lilsmiles.. nice o know u r done with the amc now.. all the very best for the results... wel i shall be siting on sept. had discussed few topics with uin ur previous forms. newy tensed hoping i get thru. have done with the surgery recals n annotated with the few topics in tjandra.. reading pedo now done with the annotated ,reading the topics. hope all stays in the head n the common sense n luck works then... i shall be completing pedo this month. gynec have read the lewelly n johns n annotated. still recals left. havnt touched pshyc. medicine the ocean remains...studying bit daily.wer u readin alone or wit a study group.. n recal papers are usefull right now too..?? guess all my doubts are jumbled here.. but anyhelp regarding preparing wud really be appreciated

Iwish u best luck for ur exam prep. Dont rely much on recalls, i just got 5 n that too the stem of the qs was changed. So just go with ur pace n beleive in urself . What ever u study now, u will remember in exam. U just try to revise as much as u can n dont forget to solve qs fromany source, it will help u to channelise ur knowledge effectively. I studied in agroup but not regularly. I had few online friends as well, but end of the day u need to feel confident in urself . Dont neglect medicine. They ask huge medicine & very few specialities qs. So do all ur tough topics beforehand , revise everything nicely & brush up all imp topics before exam.
