Pathology being a nonclinical subject , why is it still difficult to get residency in Pathology . Also are there other options like Masters in Pathology and are they relatively good options .

Well I believe a residency in Pathology is quite gettable. It is a bit more difficult than medicine if you dont have any experience. But if someone has experience, it can be quite easy to get because the people in path are looking for candidates with genuine interest in the field and having experience is the best way to show that interest.

regarding the jobs, u have to do a fellowship which can be in anything from hempath to GI to DermPath etc etc and then work in that capacity as a consultant in a teaching inst or in private practice.

yes I was in US for sometime and have personally known some Indian and Pakistani pathologists
